5. Übermittlung in Drittländer

8. Ihre Rechte

Sie haben das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und auf Widerspruch gegen die Verarbeitung aufgrund unseres berechtigten Interesses (Art. 21). Schreiben Sie uns dazu an privacy@couplix.app.

Privacy notice for our social media tool (Instagram comments)

Last updated: 24 October 2026 · If the English and German versions differ, the German version prevails.

We run the Instagram accounts @couplix.app and @thevisionflow. For these accounts we use our own internal tool (a Meta app) that publishes posts and reads comments on our own posts so that we can reply and recognise calls for help. This notice only covers that tool; for the Couplix app see couplix.app/privacy.

1. Controller

TERRAGRID IT CONSULTING – FZCO, DSO-IFZA, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates · Represented by: Milad Saber Samandari · Email: privacy@couplix.app

2. Data we process

When you comment on a post by @couplix.app or @thevisionflow we receive through Meta's Instagram API: your Instagram username, the comment text, the time, the comment ID and the post it belongs to. We receive no other profile data, no direct messages and no data about people who do not comment. For our own accounts we retrieve aggregated statistics (e.g. reach, likes, saves) that contain no data about individuals. For our content research we also store short public texts (e.g. slogans or post openings) of apps and brands – without names or links – only to check that our own texts are not copied. We do not store texts of private individuals or creators.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Replying to comments (friendly comments and answers to our questions partly automatically, everything else personally); recognising calls for help – such comments are never answered automatically but reported to us at once for a personal reaction; recognising spam – comments classified as spam are not answered. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in managing our social media channels and in protecting people who reach out to us in distress (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If a comment contains information about your health (e.g. a call for help), we process it only because you have manifestly made it public in a public comment (Art. 9(2)(e) GDPR), and only to react personally and appropriately; such comments are never answered automatically.

4. Recipients and processors

Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland) – operator of Instagram, source of the comments, acting under its own responsibility. Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC, 548 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA) – the AI model Claude classifies comments and suggests replies; username, comment text and post topic are sent. GitHub (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) – our tool runs in private GitHub repositories; comments we answer or review personally are stored there as internal tasks (issues) with username, comment text and post link. Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) – hosting of our internal, access-protected overview page and of the storage for our published images and videos; comment texts are not stored there permanently. No other third parties unless required by law.

5. Transfers to third countries

The controller is based in the United Arab Emirates. Anthropic, GitHub and Cloudflare also process data in the USA. For transfers to the USA we rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). You can request a copy of the safeguards.

6. Storage and retention

Comment tasks (GitHub issues) with username and comment text: until handled; at the latest 90 days after receipt username and comment text are removed from the task automatically. IDs of handled comments (technical ID only, no name or text) to avoid handling a comment twice; at most the last 5,000 IDs are kept. Anthropic states that it deletes inputs and outputs automatically within 30 days, longer in exceptional cases (e.g. suspected usage-policy violations or legal obligations). Our automatic replies are public on Instagram until deleted.

7. Deletion on request

You can ask us at any time to delete the data relating to your comments – see /data-deletion.

8. Your rights

Access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21). Email privacy@couplix.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

9. Changes

We update this notice when the tool, our service providers or the law change.
